Do you want to find the best car hire for your Malaga trip? It is most important to have a good experience with your trip. What does the best deal mean? Is it in terms of money or experience? It means the difference between your affordable budget and the one that actually goes in the budget. It is vital to find the best deal because the cost of car hire can go equal to or even above the cost associated with plane charges or hotel rent. There are many things you must look for when you are looking among car hire Malaga companies. Here are some of the basic aspects that you must go through before you arrive at your final choice.

Start looking for car hire Malaga companies that offer valuable services. These days there are many ways one can find information including yellow pages, travel magazines, and the Internet. The Internet is a valuable resource where you can find information within a few minutes and find as many companies as you require to arrive at a final decision. Because there are many car hire agencies out there, this allows you to benefit from the competition and find the best deal for you.

There are many factors that influence the price for car hire. Whether you are looking for car hire in your country or abroad, here are some helpful guidelines:

Age of the driver: This factor will have a significant impact on the car hire price because if you have a young driver you generally have more prices. The general tendency of young people is to drive very fast and rash. Therefore, they are more prone to accidents compared to older, more mature drivers. Hence, more costs.

Type of car: This factor will influence the price of the car to a greater extent because large cars, minivans, and SUVs are more expensive in purchase, maintenance, and insurance. Whereas, smaller cars are less expensive all the way around. This will make a difference in car hire price and should be considered.

Always make sure to read the agreement of the car hire. Understand the terms and conditions of your chosen car hire Malaga company. Look for hidden costs that are charged according to the agreement and ask a representative to clarify any uncertain terms. Some agreements allow drivers to drive unlimited miles where other agreements will only allow an allotted amount of miles to drive and will levy an extra charge for every mile driven beyond the predetermined amount. Ask the company’s representative specifically about this term in relation to your contract.

Insurance coverage: Ask your chosen car hire Malaga company about the insurance coverage to find out if they provide it or not. If they do, ask them to specify what their insurance covers and if you will be covered for any damage that may occur while the car is in your possession. Check whether your own personal insurance will cover a car hire. So, instead of taking additional car hire insurance, you can use your own insurance and ultimately save some insurance cost and reduce your car hire price.

Following these guidelines in your car hire Malaga process will help you find the most competitive prices and set you on your way to a rewarding journey.

Mexico car rentals are a great way to get around the Riviera Maya Mexico!

The freedom is great, to be able to go where you want to and when you want to. When thinking about car rentals, you have a few different options.

1) Rent a car from the airport

2) Rent a vehicle from your hotel or resort

3) Rent a car the cheapest way and while sitting in your hotel room

Let’s look at these a bit closer.

If you fly into the Cancun or Cozumel airports, you will have the option to get mexico car rentals in cancun Mexico or Cozumel from the airport and drive it to your hotel, resort or destination.

This is a very easy option.

It may take you an extra hour from the time you arrive at the airport until you drive away in the car, because it is Mexico and things take a little longer.

You will pay the most money renting a car this way, but it is very convenient.

You can also rent a car through the resort or hotel that you are staying in. Most resorts have the ability to set that up for you at the hotel. This will of course be a more expensive option and is comparable in price to renting one from the airport. However, if you just want one for one day to do a day trip somewhere then it may be the best option for you.

The cheapest option and easy transportation in Mexico in the Riviera Maya would be to call a local car rentals place in Cancun Mexico and arrange with them to bring the car to where you are.

Whether it is your all inclusive resort, hotel or restaurant.

They are great with working out the details and you will save a ton of money doing this!!

So how do you do this, you might ask. Well, since getting a car at the airport is very expensive, arrange with your hotel or who you booked your hotel through to take the shuttle from the airport to your hotel.

This is how most people get to their hotel and it is like a well oiled machine at the airport so it is quite easy to figure out which shuttle you need to get on.

When you get to your hotel, checked in, relaxed, maybe have a drink or two…then you can call a local Cancun car rental place. You can get your rental car that day or arrange it for a few days into your trip.

You will get a great deal either way, but the longer you book it for, the cheaper the price will be per day.

The things to make sure of are:

1) That they can drop off the car and pick it back up from your hotel or resort. They are used to this, so do not think it is a strange request.

2) Either get rental car insurance in Mexico, or make sure that your personal car insurance will cover it. Some insurances will cover it up to a certain amount of miles into Mexico (if your from the US), but you will need to make sure.

3) Get car insurance!! Yep, I said it again because it is that important. Mexico is different than other countries and you do not want to end up in trouble because you wrecked the car.

You do not need anything keeping you from your return flight home. So pay the extra few bucks.

Curious how much my husband and I paid for a week of car rental in the Riviera Maya Mexico?

When booking a holiday, most people focus on the big decisions first while hoping that the little things like travel insurance and even airport parking fall into place. Some don’t even bother considering either.

But after sorting out the destination, flights and accommodation, it pays to get these little extras arranged before you travel to make sure the holiday goes smoothly. Besides, those little extras can quickly turn into big extras, price-wise, if left unattended. This is especially true of travel insurance.

By visiting travel-insurance-discounts it is possible to get competitive quotes on travel insurance packages that will keep you covered in just a matter of minutes. By filling in the necessary details in the search engine on the homepage, you will soon be presented with a list of coverage options, from Standard to Essential Plus. For single trips of up to a month to destinations in Europe, for example, travel insurance begins at less than ฃ12.

The advantage here is that you can see all the details of the various coverage plans on screen, make a selection and pay by credit card without having to leave home. If the worst does come to the worst while you’re away, you’ll get full travel insurance coverage and therefore minimise possible hassles and costs.

The Essential Plus travel insurance package, for instance, covers against passport loss or theft, muggings, delayed departures and even airplane hijackings. In fact, it just about covers any possible scenario that could otherwise derail your travel plans at great expense.

Your personal safety and that of your friends and family is of utmost importance while travelling, but there are also other little extras that you can sort out before heading to the airport that can make your travels smoother and save you money farther down the line.

It is now even possible to sort out airport parking online prior to departure. Visit save-on-parking to confirm a parking space beforehand and you could save up to 45 per cent on what can be a considerable expense when added to your holiday. Almost as significant is the added convenience; instead of rummaging around for the necessary change to pay for your parking space at the airport, you can sort your airport parking out beforehand by credit card.

Much like purchasing travel insurance online, purchasing airport parking requires just a minute or two to enter the necessary details including the airport you will be flying from and the dates you will be away. You will then be presented with a surprising choice of different options which many travellers are often unaware of. These are mostly determined by the length of stay.

Another parking option is a meet and greet service. This is the ultimate in convenience; simply drive to the terminal and a representative will meet you to take your car to a long stay car park. You will be met outside Arrivals with your car upon your return.

By booking beforehand online, you will be able to get airport parking services for less than a standard parking space outside the terminal were you to leave all the necessary arrangements until your arrival at the airport. In the case of a number of different products and services, the internet has made things less expensive and more convenient, a fact that is increasingly also being translated into savings on extras like travel insurance and car parking for your next holiday.

If you have special needs you must ensure that your special circumstances are covered by the policy you choose.

Pre-existing medical conditions
Most insurers do not automatically cover pre-existing medical illnesses or medical conditions. However traveler’s can apply for coverage for their pre-existing illness via an application, which is, then subject to approval and possible payment of a premium. Keep in mind there are illnesses and conditions that will not be covered under any circumstances. Some insurers offer automatic coverage for common illnesses/conditions such as tinnitus, asthma or stable high blood pressure but the onus is on the traveler to check because conditions can apply. For example if you are on a hospital waiting list for treatment for your illness or condition you may not be covered. Sometimes insurers will offer you a policy that excludes claims caused by your condition or they may not offer a policy because of the destination of your travels.

What is a pre-existing medical condition?
In general they are usually defined as any chronic or ongoing medical or dental condition for which you have received treatment or advice within a specified time prior to the policy being issued or any chronic or ongoing medical condition, illness or disease that’s been medically documented prior to departure.

If the insurer does agree to cover you it is recommended you get it in writing. There may be an additional premium. Also check the excess in relation to a claim relating to the pre-existing condition. If you cannot get travel insurance for your condition it is still important to get travel insurance for other claims.

Pregnant Women
Most policies will cover pregnant women on application but you might be charged an additional premium for prior complications.

The cut-off point for coverage during pregnancy varies from 26 weeks to ‘no time limit’, with 26 weeks being the norm. Many policies cover unforeseen complications of the pregnancy during that time period, but they don’t all cover the medical costs of a premature baby.

Some charge an additional premium. Policies do not cover full-term birth. A few policies don’t cover you if you buy a policy and depart on your journey without knowing you are pregnant.

Older Travelers
Most of the policies offered have special conditions for older travelers. Some will require the payment of an extra premium while others will not offer cover after a specific age such as 75.

Most will require a medical assessment; some will charge a higher premium or extra fee. Others have no fee but have an extra excess for medical claims.

Adrenalin Seekers & Adventure Travelers
It is very important to check what activities you are covered for and more importantly what activities you are not covered for. Most amateur sports are covered however there are many exclusions. Exclusions can include mountaineering using ropes, base jumping, running with the bulls, snowboarding and professional sports. All product disclosure statements will outline the specific ‘adventures’ which are covered. Be aware that an extra premium may apply and read the conditions.

Single Parents traveling with children
If you are a single parent or adult traveling alone with several children most policies will cover the children for the single premium. However, some only allow cover for two dependent children travelling with one parent. It is important to check the age limits for children traveling with one parent.

Duo policies
These are policies that enable two people to travel together under the same policy. Make sure you check the restrictions because some may only allow you to travel with a spouse or family member others may require you to have the exact itinerary whereas others may allow you to spend 50% of time together.

Working while overseas
Working and traveling is a cost effective way of financing your trip. However some policies don’t cover you for manual labor or an accident that has happened while working. Policies that do provide cover usually don’t charge an additional premium but a few do.

As always make sure you check and double-check what you are buying. It is very important to understand the conditions and restrictions found in the product disclosure statement before you travel. It is essential for you to check all the small print on your policy before you make a decision. Read many policies carefully before making a decision and make sure you understand exactly what you are covered for and more importantly what you are not covered for.

Australia Travel Insurance wishes you a wonderful and safe journey.

Countless people dream about cruising down the highway driving an expensive sports car. Why wouldn’t you want to drive along a ribbon of highway passing fields of green while a field of blue arches over you? Sports cars are a lot of fun. They’re fast and look terrific. These performance cars can drive from zero to one hundred kms in under 5 seconds. Not surprisingly they cost a fortune! This is why numerous folks like to test-drive thes cars with a sports rental agency rather than buying one at the outset.

There are numerous reasons why your may not want to rent a regular car but a sports rental may be a great idea. Firstly, should you require transportation for a business trip, and you know that you will be on your own for most of the trip, why not enjoy the travel time? Let’s face it, your rental car won’t cost that much more and it’ll be a more relaxing productive business trip when you rent one.

Your insurance package won’t be too different either. Speaking of business travel or a weekend getaway, you might be able to impress your friend or client. It’s really simple to impress people when you take them to dinner or lunch in you’re great looking expensive sports rental. Everyone drives these cars to look good. Renting this kind of car may be one of the finest ways to secure that elusive contract for your home office.

You could rent a car for that special occasion too. There are certainly lots of reasons to do a car rental. However, the most important thing is that you will finally have the chance to drive around in a car that is sleek and stylish, and you won’t’ have to worry about how to pay for it in the end. This is probably the biggest reason that a person might choose to do a sports rental, even for only a short amount of time.

Renting a sports car offers the best and most affordable rental contracts for quality sports; prestige and classic luxury car rentals. A number of rental agencies have luxurious cars available be they classic and prestige, which are genuinely affordable. Renting these cars can mean you’ll experience a thrill of a lifetime, as opposed to a regular car, without breaking your bank account. Many agencies offer midweek special offers. You will be surprised at just how affordable the low rates are.

An alternative to a regular car is the rental agency’s weekend plus super-saver offers. Some rental agency gift vouchers afford the customer a discount on the rental for a sports, prestige, or classic car rental. These vouchers afford the customers the opportunity to receive a really special and unique gift.

Ken Morris usually publishes news stories on things related to rental cars at Malaga airport. His work on cheap car hire in Malaga are published on his webpage and different web publications.

So you decided to take a brake from work, leave the worries behind for a while and fly away somewhere.
It could be lying on the beach with a cocktail, dancing till the morning on a night club, seeing historical cities and places, cruising down the river, skiing at the Alphs or just travel in the nature. No matter what the destination is, after deciding the type of vacation, you have to prepare your luggage and make some checks.

Plan your expenditures; Sometimes a lower costs hotel will give you the opportunity to spend on other attractions.

Before the flight it is very important to see the weather forecast of your destination, and take clothes accordingly.

Read about your destination, check out about the local transportation, and ask for recommended places, sites and restaurants. You can print some pages with the information and take it with you.

Highly recommended to check the current currency rate of you destination, if possible change the currency before the flight. A lot of currency changers give bad rates if you don’t familiar with the rates.

Another important thing people intend to forget – checking the electricity type of the destination country and bring electric convert if needed.

What I recommend is to make a list of things to bring and then when leaving check if nothing was forgotten:

Things to check before flight:

Passport is valid
Abroad insurance
Flying tickets and reservation correct and ready
Check if visa needed for the destination

Things to bring:

Passport
Fly Tickets
Visa
Hotel/transport Vouchers
International credit card
Phone of your embassy
Camera + charger
Cell Phone + charger if needed
Electric convert
Sunscreen (always needed)
Flip-flops
Sunglasses
Small first aid kit
Notebook and pen
Map (or buy at the destination)
Ear plugs/eyes cover for the flight

Clothes according the weather:
Underwear
Sleeping clothes
2 pair of shoes
Swimsuit if needed
Comfortable clothes for walking
Clothes for evening
Raincoat if raining.

Beauty case:
Hairbrush
Makeup (and women stuff)
Toothpaste + toothbrush
Deodorant

There are a number of reasons why you may want to rent yachts, but one of these is because you like to use the vessels for corporate events. In this case, you want to go for a corporate yacht charter. What are the reasons for going a corporate yacht charter? There are a lot. For one, you may want to have a unique way of celebrating milestones in your company such as anniversaries. You may also choose a corporate yacht charter when you’re doing an important product launch. If you like to keep your number of guests very limited and make them the ones who are definitely going to buy your products and services, you can take them on a cruise. You can then have cocktails and presentations during sunsets or nighttime. Another reason for leasing yachts is for teambuilding. You may have got used or even bored with the usual activities, and you like something new? Now, how about if you challenge all your employees to a day or even a week of fun and pressure by playing water sports? Lastly, you can rent a corporate yacht charter as a form of gift to the most valued client or to the most hardworking staff in the office. What are the things to consider for a corporate yacht charter? The first thing that you need to keep in mind will be the number of people who are going to occupy the yachts. Most of them, even the bigger ones, have limited number of guests. This is to prevent any potential problem such as overloading. Moreover, the number of people will determine how much you’re going to pay for the corporate yacht charter. Normally, you are going to pay for every person who’s on board. It’s also the reason why you have to confirm to your personnel who is definitely joining the trip. Second, think about your budget. You will definitely spend more if you’re going to choose luxury yachts, or those equipped with professional crew and facilities such as salons, saunas, suites, and gyms, to name a few. You are also going to pay more if you will be traveling to a lot of islands. Third, make sure that the corporate yacht charter you’ve chosen can give you a liability insurance policy. This means that should anything happen to you, the charter company will be responsible to you and your family. The coverage, however, may depend on the type of corporate yacht charter you’ve picked. Fourth, know if there are add-on services that you can take advantage for your corporate yacht charter. There are times when they offer packages, where you don’t only get to use the yachts but you can also use the other facilities such as jet skis, snorkeling and diving equipment, and a lot more. Today, with ease in navigation, you already have several choices for your corporate yacht charter. If you’re aiming for more nature, you can head to the Caribbean islands. If you want to inject culture, you can select Mediterranean islands.

Overseas travel is one thing that people all over the world aspire to. Whether cruising around the Greek Islands on a luxury yacht, sipping brandy by the fire in a Swiss chalet after a day of skiing; or elephant spotting in Kenya, an overseas trip can be the adventure of a lifetime. Unfortunately, though, it can also be the disaster of a lifetime unless due diligence is carried out prior to setting off.

Along with passports and plane tickets, one of the most important things to remember before travelling overseas is to arrange Travel Insurance. Not just any “cheapest-you-can-find” travel insurance, but a policy that will take good care of you should the unforeseen occur.

Types of travel insurance vary from company to company and it is well worth your while to spend some considerable time shopping around before committing to one policy. Remember, what is considered an acceptable risk by one insurer, may be excluded by another. Definitions of terms may also vary.

Take terrorism, for example. Most insurance policies will exclude acts of terrorism from being claimable events, however, the definition of what constitutes a terrorist act can vary between insurers. What one insurer may deem as an act of violence and therefore claimable, another insurer may deem terrorism and deny any claim.

In this age of terrorism threats and war-torn nations, travellers should always heed governmental advice as to whether or not travel to certain regions is recommended. If deciding to travel to a country despite government warnings, it may be difficult to obtain travel insurance at all. If it is obtained, it will probably be very expensive and its cover fairly limited.

It is crucial that you understand exactly what is and isn’t excluded from the policy before you sign on the dotted line. Indeed, being aware of the exclusions is, arguably, even more important than knowing what is covered. Get clear in your mind the insurer’s definition of claimable and non-claimable events. If at all possible, endeavour to get those definitions in writing.

Get the language right. Ask as many questions as it takes to know exactly where you stand. Remember, the only dumb questions are ones that haven’t been asked yet and given a voice. If going through a broker or agent, double check with the insurer if uncertain of their answers. It’s wise to remember too, that no insurance policy is going to cover you for every single thing that could possibly happen on your holiday. The prudent traveller will ensure, however, that what he or she needs to be covered for will be.

For example, does the policy allow you to participate in “adventure activities”? If you’re going bungee jumping in New Zealand or white-water rafting in Canada, make sure your insurer knows about it and will cover you for accidents occurring during such activities.

Is your luggage excluded if left unattended? What does “left unattended” mean? What if you leave it in a taxi? What if you walk two metres from it to buy a chocolate bar from a vending machine?

It’s a good idea to also familiarise yourself with claims procedures before departing so as to avoid the “paper frenzy” in the event of an accident. Some policies have a time limit for reporting claims. In some cases, the incident must be reported to local authorities within twenty-four hours in order to claim.

Be aware too that some countries may not recognise all insurance companies. This could pose a problem if hospitalisation is required. If the insurer isn’t recognised in that country you may not get hospital treatment. Make sure that the insurer has a global reputation.

It’s very expensive to be injured overseas. For instance, medical evacuation from the United States to Australia can cost anything from $80,000.00 upwards. If a stay in hospital is required, the bill could run into hundreds of thousands of dollars. And you thought shopping in Beverly Hills would be fun?.

It’s also dangerous to be injured overseas, particularly in countries where medical facilities may not be as well equipped as at home. Again, the evacuation costs can run into many thousands of dollars – and no insurance means a lifetime of debt.

Travelling without the right travel insurance is like walking a tightrope without a net. Sure, it can be done, but one tiny slip and it’s too late for “If only”s. And chances are, it will be your loved ones at home who will mortgage their houses, cash in their superannuation and face considerable financial hardship in order to bring you back to the fold.

All in all, travel insurance is one thing you should definitely not leave home without!

When you travel, you have lots of expenses to cover – air fare, accommodation, food, things you buy and so on and so forth. You might decide not to get travel insurance so that you may save some money. You think that travel insurance is as an unnecessary expense and that nothing will go wrong. You also believe it’s the pessimist who needs insurance. Travelling without insurance can be the biggest mistake you make when organizing your trip and it can turn out to be very costly. The travel insurance comes in two ways: 1 The vanilla, travel insurance, (sometimes called trip insurance) covers cancellations, delays, lost baggage and emergencies. 2. Insurance of medical during travel protects you against any medical expense while travelling. Imagine these scenarios: You are in Darwin, Australia when a cyclone hits the area. The city is in a mess and all services are shut down. If the luggage is missing in India and you want to buy new clothes, this can be a problem when you are on a shoestring budget. With you traveller insurance you will be able to buy new clothes. If a person is injured badly and he needs surgery and then needs to be airlifted home. It is also fine. It is the duty of travel medical insurance to cover all that.
